TrainingandDevelopment ofNational Employees
At Kames Petroleum Services , we have several training
anddevelopment programs to helpboth
our experienced and inexperienced national
employees sharpen their skills.
We target professionally inexperiencednationals
with strongeducational backgrounds andhelp
themdevelop for specificpositions throughour
AssociateDevelopment Program. Through this
program, eachnew recruit receives an Individual
Development Plan (IDP) tailored specifically
tohis or her needs, the support of career
counselors, andan individual coach toprovide
on-the-job trainingandassess progress. Upon
successful completionof the IDP, thenational
recruit is thenappointed tohis or her target job.
For experiencednational employees, wehave
manyprograms inplace tohelp themexpand
their career paths.Weoffer national employees
scholarships and study leave programs to
enable them to continue their education.
Wealsoprovide cross-post opportunitieswith
DolphinEnergy’s shareholders (TOTALandOxy)
whichoffer the chance for nationals togain
valuableexperiencewith these international
companies. In2015, wedecreased thenumber
of scholarships offered from5 to2as part of our
cost optimizationefforts.
