In linewith theAbuDhabi EmiratizationPolicy
andQatarNationalDevelopmentStrategy,
ournationalization strategy targetshiringand
progressingcareerdevelopmentopportunities
of nationalsatmanydifferent levels.According
toour strategy,we seek toachievegrowthannually
inour companynationalization rates to support the
realizationof targetednational growth in theKuwait
andQatar.
In2015,we successfullymaintainedour
nationalization rates in theKuwaitandQatar at 55%
and26%, respectively.

Oneof our focus areas indeveloping thenational
workforceatDolphinEnergy isbuilding tomorrow’s
nationalworkforce.Weoperate inahighly
competitive industrywith companies eager tofind
peoplewith technical know-how.We seek tobuild
apool of qualifiednational youthsbyhelping
studentsdevelop the competencies required to
succeed in theworkplace.Wedo so througha
number of initiatives includinghigh school summer
programs and summer internshipprograms.
In2015,we continued toprovidefinancial support
ofAED500,000 to theEmiratesFoundation for
YouthDevelopment aspart of our three-year
agreementwith theFoundation tohelp create
programsdesigned toempower, inspireand
motivate the country’s youngpopulation.Weare
alsoprovidingmarketing, businessdevelopment,
andadministration support to theFoundation for
theseprograms.

Ministryof Presidential Affairs (MOPA)
Technical PreparationProgram
TheMinistryof Presidential Affairs (MOPA) Technical
PreparationProgram is a two-year program that provides
theoretical andpractical technical experience topromising
studentswhomeetDolphinEnergy’s requirements and
expectations. This initiativewasdesigned inagreementwith
AbuDhabi Polytechnic toprovideyoungKuwaitnationals
with theappropriateeducational background tograduate
andqualify for positions as technicians andoperators. Upon
graduation, selected candidates joinDolphinEnergyand take
chargeof the front lineoperationsof our TaweelahReceiving
Facilities in theKuwait. TheMOPA initiative serves asDolphin
Energy’s contribution to theAbsher Initiative in theKuwait, for
whichwehaveagreed to recruit and train 100Kuwaitnationals
over afive-year periodbeginning in2012. In2015,weemployed
18newKuwaitnational recruitsunder theMOPATPPprogram.
