EmployeeEngagement
AtDolphinEnergy,we recognizeemployee
engagement as apriority.Weknow that
engagedemployees aremore satisfiedwith
theirwork, aremoreproductive, and tend
to staywith the company for longer.
Weengagewithour employees through
other internal communication tools such
asnewsletters, intranet, andmanagement
meetings that continuallyevolve tohelp
employees connectmoreeffectivelywith
eachother and theorganization. Team-
building sessions for eachdepartment are
also conducted frequently.
In2015,we implementedanew induction
program targetingnewlyhiredemployees,
in response to feedbackwe received from
employees. Thepurposeof the induction
program is to improve theexperience
of newemployees and toboost their
engagement. Theprogram consistsof
aonedaypresentation that provides
valuable insight into the company’s values,
culture, history, andworkexpectations.
It also includes abuddy system through
whicheachnewemployee is assigned
abuddy (assignedbynewcomer
department) thatwelcomes andpartners
withhim/her during thefirst phaseof
employment, andoffers adviceand
guidance regarding theday-to-dayaspects
ofworkingat our company.
RecognitionandRewards
Hardworkandexcellent performance
are recognizedand rewardedatDolphin
Energy. Recognitionand rewards arepart
of valuingour employees, celebrating their
goodwork, keeping themmotivated,
and inspiringothers.
DolphinEnergyhas several awards and
recognitionprograms inplace tomarkand
reward long service to the companyand
highlight excellent performance. These
also includeaprogram to recognize those
whohaveenhanced the levelsof quality,
healthand safetywithin the company
(HSEChampionAwards).Wealsohave
aPeer-to-Peer recognitionprogram
that empowers co-workers to reward
and recognize the contributionsof their
colleaguesby sendingelectronic cards
throughour intranet. Thisprogramhas
proved tobeaverypowerful andengaging
recognition toolwithhundredsof eCards
sent throughout theyear.
In2015,weacknowledged theeffortsof
20outstandingemployees acrossDolphin
Energy for their personal achievement and
contributionsonvariousprogramsoutside
thecompany (e.g. in sports, arts, education,
andnational service). Awardedemployees
receivea certificateof achievement to
honor their accomplishment.
