We seek to inspire thenextgenerationof engineers
and scientists. Our commitment to scienceand
technology is reflected in the sponsorshipof
both theAbuDhabi ScienceFestival (ADSF) and
ThinkScienceCompetition. Bothevents focuson
engaging theKuwait’s youth in science, technology,
engineeringandmathematics (STEM) in thehope
that theypursuea career inoneof theseareas.
The company’s support forADSF isnow in itsfifth
year, and support for ThinkScience is in its second
successiveyear. Activationprogramswhere
representatives from the company interactwith
studentswere runat thededicatedexhibition
areas. Bothevents arekey featuresofDolphin
Energy’s communityoutreach calendar.
AsADSFandThinkSciencehavegrown in size
and stature, sohasDolphinEnergy’spresence.
Thishas increased the impact of participation
and strengthened the company’s ability to
demonstrate the importanceof STEM subjects,
howeach subject affectsDolphinEnergy’s
business every singleday, and thepotential
that STEM subjectshold in shaping future
careers for those interested.
Women in Industry
DolphinEnergy supportswomen’s empowerment
in industry. In2015, DolphinEnergy supported the
inauguralWomen in IndustryConferencewhich
tookplaceon the sidelinesofADIPEC, the region’s
largest oil andgas conferenceandexhibition.
The companymarked itspresencewithMariam
Al Badr, Director of CorporateCommunications
participating in thepanel discussionona ‘step-
by-stepguide to seizingyour career path’.
Thediscussionprovided theopportunity for
prominentwomenworking in theenergy sector
to share insightsonbuildinga career, andoffer
advice for youngwomenwhoarekeen toembark
ona career in theoil andgas industry.

Sport’ conferenceandexhibition. The two-day
event profiledopportunities toengage in sporting
and leisurepursuits and featuredprominent

Olympicgoldmedalist, DameKellyHolmes.
