Turnover
It is important tous thatwemeasure the
employee turnover acrossDolphinEnergy
tounderstand thefluctuationof voluntary
and involuntary turnover, and support both
our employees’ and company’s success.
In2014, DolphinEnergy completedamanpower
optimizationactivityaspartof ourorganizational
restructuring forDolphinEnergy2020; one
anticipated resultof thisactivitywas 14%employee
turnover in2014. In2015, ouroverall turnover
rate totaled7%, consistentwithourperformance
inyearsprior to2014.Wecontinuously seek
to improveour turnover rateandunderstand
key retention factors throughexit interviews
conductedbydepartingemployees.
In2015, the turnover rate for youngpeople (age
18-30) in theworkforce remainedhigh at 16%.
This is attributable to thedepartureof some
participants in theMinistryof Presidential Affairs
(MOPA) Technical PreparationProgram (TPP).
Students are required tomaintain aminimum
GPAof 2.5 as part of theprogram; thoseunable
tomeet this requirementwere released from
theprogram and therefore appear as turnover
inour data.
