Weare committed to fosteringahealthyworking
environment for all our employees.Wehave
anOccupational HealthManagement Plan
thatwasdeveloped in2014; theplan contains
foundationdomains andkeyelements to
continually improve the implementationand
effectivenessof healthprotection initiatives
andhealthpromotionprograms.
We seek toencourageour employees to lead
healthybalanced lifestyles andparticipate in
wellnessprogramswhen they can.We recognize
that thiswill benefit bothour peopleandour
business. In2015,wehadavery lowabsenteeism
rate (0.04%),which is evidenceof the cost-
effectivenessof theworkplacehealth initiatives
weprovideacross the company.
HealthCampaigns
Weplanourhealthcampaigns tocoincidewith
global events asmuchaspossible tomaximize
reachand impactof awareness. In2015, a large
numberof campaignsandeventswere rolledout
across thecompany toeducateandmotivate
employees tomakehealthier choices. These
included ‘FeedYourBrain’, throughwhich
nutritional informationabout foodwas shared
across thecompany, includingdetailsonhow
foodcanaffectmood,memory, and theability
to focus. ‘Step intoHealth’wasanotherprogram,
launched toencourageeachemployee towalk
10,000 steps ormore inoneday, using a non-
competitive, recreational and social approach.
Thisprogram’sgoalwas todecrease the risks
associatedwithcardiovasculardisease, diabetes,
cancer, hypertension, obesityandosteoporosis.
