Buildinga cultureof sustainability is
akey component supportingour journey
towards sustainability. It alsomeans
that allmembersof the companyhold
sharedassumptions andbeliefs about the
importanceof balancing theeconomic,
environmental and social impactsof the
company’soperations.
Our SustainabilityWorkingGroup (SWG)
champions sustainabilityprinciples,
initiatives, andprograms during the year,
helps toestablishdepartmental sustainability
objectives andperformance indicators,
and is instrumental in theproduction
of theannual sustainability report.
The group comprises representatives
from the company’sbusinessunits,
brought together toworkcollectivelyon
driving thevalueof sustainabilityacross
the company. TheSWGmeetsseveral
timesayear, toagreeandcollaborate
onsustainabilityprojects.
Italsoencouragesandguides thecompany’s
departments todiscuss theirorganizational
functionsand roles inachievingsustainability
goals.Aboveall, the formationof theSWG
illustratesDolphinEnergy’sfirmbelief that
sustainability isa teameffort.
DolphinEnergyalsoworks toenlistevery
employee toactatworkandathome
foramoresustainable futurebyoffering
sustainability trainingandevents forall
employees, tacklinga rangeof sustainability
issues. Tomark the launchof the2014
SustainabilityReport, DolphinEnergyheld
its fourthSustainabilityWeek topromote
awareness and engage employees
and their families in the company’s
sustainability accomplishments. During
theweek, employees had theopportunity
toparticipate in a sustainability report
quiz; thosewho answered all questions
correctlywere entered into a raffle towin
gift vouchers.
