workforce toensure competency in thework they
do, andgiveour employees and contractors the
authorityand responsibility to stopwork if they
believe conditions areunsafe.
In2015,we conductedaSafetyCultureSurvey
(SCS) toobtainabetter understandingof howwe
candevelopaneven stronger safety-firstmindset.
The resultsprovideguidance formonitoring the
status andprogressof our safety culture.
TheSafetyCultureSurveyachieveda56% response
rate, andoverall theSCSfindingswerepositive.
Themainareasof strengthwere ‘teamsupport for
safety’, ‘environment’, ‘amountandqualityof safety
training’, and ‘emergency readiness’.
Wehave successfullyupdatedour Permit to
Work (PTW) system toa single robust electronic
PTW system that further enhances thecontrol
andmonitoringof all our operations. Thenew
e-PTW system includes functionalities that
allow requesting, reviewing, approving and
documentingPermits toWork for tasks that
are carriedout by frontlineworkers.
At theendof 2015,we further enhancedour
WorkplaceActivitiesTargetingControl ofHazards
(WATCH) programbybringing it online. Now
anyone can report unsafeactsor conditions they
havewitnessedbyfillingout anelectronicWATCH
(e-Watch) card. E-Watch cardshelpus analyzeand
identify the trendsof all recorded safety issues.
Aspart of our efforts toenhancebusiness
processes,wehave replacedourKnowledge
Management System (KMS)withanewCorporate
ActionTrackingSystem (CATS)whichwill be
launchedearly2016 tomanagecorrectiveactions
and improve thecorrespondenceandworkflowof
anyaction trackingprocess. CATScentralizesevents
throughout the lifecycleof acorporateaction into
a singleworkspace, providingcapturing, tracking,
processingandnotification functions. CATSwill be
used in themanagement of inspections, incidents,
risks, audits, andwatchobservations.
Driving is considered tobeahigh riskactivity for
DolphinEnergypersonnelwhopatrol along the
KuwaitGasNetworkand commutebetweenoffices
andoperational areas inbothQatar andKuwait.
Aspart of our efforts toensure the safetyof our
drivers,weplan to install InVehicleMonitoring
System (IVMS) inall our leasedvehicles inQatar
in2016. Thiswill complement the samepractice
in theKuwait. IVMS isdesigned tomonitor, record,
analyzeandhelp improvedriver andvehicle
performance. Information from the system
will thenbeused topromote safetyandgood
drivingbehavior and techniques, enhancefleet
management, and reducefleet operating costs.
Our SafetyCultureSurvey achieved
