Export GasCompressor UpgradeProject
Wehave completedour ExportGasCompressor
(EGC) upgradeproject atDolphinEnergy’s
onshoregasprocessingplant inRas Laffan, Doha,
with theachievement of the successful operation
of threenewEGCs installed in2014. Thisbrings
tonine the total number of EGCs the company
canuse tomaintainnatural gas exports to the
KuwaitandOman.
As a result,wehave increased theplant’s
compression capacity to3.2Bscf per day to
match the company’s export pipeline capacity
of the sameamount. Consequently,wehave
enhanced the reliabilityandavailabilityof
natural gas exports toour customers in the
Emirates andOman.
Theupgradewas completed safely,with zero lost
time incidents, aheadof timeandbelowbudget.
