We continue to ensure the readiness of
emergency rooms acrossDolphin
Energy, andwe have carriedout regular
drills (a total of 18 in 2013) and table-top
exercises.Most importantly, we carried
out two complex andmulti-faceted
exercises in theKuwait andQatar,
unannounced, andout-of-hours. The
exercise inQatar lastedmore than eight
hours and involved about 40 responders
and 15 role-players, while the exercise in
theKuwait lastedover six hours, involving
37 responders and 14 role-players.
These exercises put DolphinEnergy’s
readiness for various emergency
scenarios to the test. The crisis and
emergencymanagement system, as
well as facilities and equipment for all
response rooms, worked as intended.

implemented the FitnessChallenge, a
one-monthprogram in theKuwaitdesigned
to encourage employees tobemore
physically active. Almost 100 employees
competed in teams to scorepoints
basedon the amount of daily exercise
they completed.
Acknowledging that road traffic
accidents are amajor cause of fatalities
in the region, DolphinEnergy hasmade
a commitment to increase awareness
of road safety among its employees.
