energy sector, the company’sworkforce

workforce are female employees, while
inQatar the percentage is closer to 11%
of the total workforce. In theKuwait the
company has female representation in

It is important to note that given the nature
of the energy industry; the ratio of the
years of experiencebetween female and
male staff withinDolphinEnergy is 65%,
which is consistent with the salary ratio.
Upholding and promoting basic human
rights are an important part of Dolphin
Energy’s culture. The company follows
national regulations for human rights in
theareaswhere it operates, and as a
company owned bymultinationals in a
joint venture, DolphinEnergy is aware of
international human rights expectations
under theEquator Principles andother
international agreements and reports back
to theDolphinEnergyBoard of Directors
accordingly.
All employees have intranet access to the
corporateHumanResourcesManual and
corresponding elements on human rights.
Toensure fair treatment of employees
and tomaintain communication regarding
any violations of human rights that might
occur, DolphinEnergy has implemented
agrievance processwhereby employees
or a concerned public can communicate
their complaints verbally or inwriting and
express their concerns toHRdepartment,
which in turn communicates such
complaints to the relevant department.

tolerate compulsory or child labor, and
no incidences of either have been
recorded. The company has also never
engaged in thepractice of retaining
employees’ passports during the period of
employment.
With contractors, general contract
conditions cover someaspects of human
rights issues, and particular conditions are
issued to recruitment agencies for service
contractors, outliningworking terms and
conditions.
