workwith contractors.
In2015, our Procurement andContracts
department addedaminimumwage clause toour
agreementswith contractorsproviding services
suchas security, cleaningandofficemessengers
toourKuwaitoffices.Wealsoaddedaclause toone
of our agreementswitha contractor providing
wastemanagement services inQatar,which
enablesDolphinEnergy to imposeamonetary
penaltyon thosewhodonot pay theirworkers’
wageson time.
DolphinEnergyalso carriedout auditson
theaccommodation for contractedworkers in
Ras Laffan toensure that theminimum space
allocatedper person, sanitary facilities, and food
provided toworkers taking intoaccount their
religiousor cultural backgrounds arealigned
withour standards.
