responsibility of every employee.”
In order to achieve this policy’s goals,
theQHSEManagement System, since
2003, provides a broad-based set of
expectations integrated into ten standards
of accountability.
TheQHSEManagement Systemwas
updated in2008 to reflect the transition
froma project toanoperatingproduction
company. It has beenbuilt on the
strengths of existing leadership systems,
including thoseusedbyDolphinEnergy’s
shareholders. This framework helps line
managers focus on critical activities in
anorganized and systematicmanner
so that DolphinEnergy consistently
delivers improved performance. It has
significantly contributed to ensuring
safe and environmentally responsible
design, superior workplace healthand
safety records; continual regulatory
complianceand robust Health, Safety,
andEnvironment (HSE) riskmanagement
programs. It allocates responsibilities
among threedifferent levels in the
company:
Executivemanagement is responsible
for endorsing the system’s
commitments, values and policies, and
delegatingappropriate responsibilities
for theQHSEManagement System
among the company’s linemanagers
and ensuring that sufficient resources
areprovided tomeet thenecessary
standards and requirements.
