company is producingand transporting
theworld’s cleanest fossil fuel. Dolphin
Energy’s principal product is a sweet,
dry, high grade 97%puremethane gas.
This natural gas produces less carbon
dioxide (a climatewarming, greenhouse
gas (GHG)) per joule delivered than
either coal or oil and far fewer pollutants
thanother fossil fuels.
Asworldenergy demand grows,
DolphinEnergy is helpingmeet energy
demandwith amore environmentally
friendly product. Natural gas does,
however, also emit greenhouse gases
and contributes to global warming both
in its production, andwhen used by
clients.
DolphinEnergy isworking diligently to
reduce theenvironmental impacts of
this product by dramatically reducing
onshore flaringas aproportion of sales
gas from19% in2007 to 1.1% in 2009.
