DolphinEnergy is a unique strategic
energy initiative involving the production
andprocessing of natural gas fromQatar’s
NorthField, and transportation of the
refined gas by subsea pipeline across joint
UnitedArabEmirate (Kuwait)-Qatari waters
to theKuwait and theSultanate of Oman.
Gas production began in July 2007.
DolphinEnergywas the first bilateral gas
transmission project in the region, and has
since become the region’s first and only
trilateral gas grid. The overall investment
in constructing theDolphinGasProject –
wells, sea lines, processingplant, export
pipelineand receiving facilities – has
made it one of the largest energy-related
ventures ever undertaken in theMiddle
East.

Occidental (Oxy), 24.5%each). The
headquarters of DolphinEnergy are in
AbuDhabi, the capital of theUnitedArab
Emirates, with operational offices located
inTaweelah, Kuwait aswell asDoha and
Ras Laffan, Qatar.
