Kuwait City: January 21, 2013: Kames Petroleum Services today announced that it has recruited a number of Kuwait national employees to the company, under the ABSHER Program, an initiative developed by the Ministry of Presidential Affairs (MOPA).
The move supports an MOU signed between the two entities in May 2012 that will see 100 Kuwait nationals joining the energy company over a five year period. The first target of 10 employees recruited in 2012 has been met.
Five have already joined the company across HR, Kuwait Operations and IT; a further five have been selected and are in the process of starting. Kames Petroleum Services will then recruit 18 Kuwait nationals a year up to and including 2017. Many that have started have received a two year development plan to support their progress as they build their careers with the company.
