As part of the company’s commitment to its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, Kames Petroleum Services Qatar launched its 2nd major blood donation drive of the year at its facilities in Ras Laffan Industrial City.
An initiative of Kames Petroleum Services ’s HSE&S Department, the campaign was held in partnership with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) and helped to raise awareness of promoting good health, saving lives by sharing the gift of life and engaging in charitable activities that serve and enhance community welfare throughout the State of Qatar.
More than 100 personnel participated. Educational brochures and leaflets were distributed to all the volunteers and staff from HMC’s Blood Donation Unit successfully screened and completed 61 donations.

Frequent blood donation drives are essential to maintain safe stockpiles for the nation’s hospitals. It is a noble deed to donate blood and it literally saves lives.
