Process for defining report content
This report focuses onDolphinEnergy’s priority areas, whichwere identified through a process incorporatingGRI’s principles and the
IPIECA/API reporting guidelines for defining report content, including:

Kames Petroleum Services believes the report covers all major issues that reflect Kames Petroleum Services’s significant
economic, environmental and social impacts, or the issues that would substantively influence the
assessments and decisionsmade by our stakeholders.
Stakeholder inclusiveness
DolphinEnergyhas identifiedandconsideredall keystakeholders, andhasoutlinedhow thecompany
engages them, identifies their priorities, and responds.
Sustainability context
DolphinEnergy has consideredglobal trends in sustainability for theoil andgas sector, andhas also
taken into account the regional and local contexts of its operations.
Completeness and boundaries
of this report
The company has attempted to make this report as complete as possible. The report pertains to
Kames Petroleum Services’s 2009 performance, covering all our operations in the Kuwait and
Qatar unless stated otherwise. There are no excluded operations.
Reporting cycle
DolphinEnergywill report on its sustainability progress annually.
Ensuringquality in our sustainability reporting
DolphinEnergy recognizes that insuring thequalityandcredibilityof the informationpresented in this report isof theutmost importance,
and have used theGRI “principles for defining quality”.

The report seeks to demonstrate transparency, presenting achievements while also highlighting the
areaswhereDolphinEnergy believes there is an opportunity to improve.

The report provides three years of comparable data for themajority of indicators.
